Charity Fundraiser Concert

This Charity Fundraiser in aid of the St Barnabas charity has been orgainised by Rob Hussey. Rob is a British singer/songwriter who was raised in a family of entertainers.  In the 60s he was a recording artist, along with his brother and sister performing as The Moonstones and recording on Parlophone and Mercury.  Rob released further recordings in the 2000s with his cousin, Mike Davies, in their old school R&B band, 'Stompus' on Harmony Depot Records.

Joining Rob tonight will be Vegard Muriaas:  Vegard is from Norway, a singer/songwriter, a great sound engineer and one of Rob’s closest friends and collaborators.  Vegard lives in the small Norwegian island community of Harøya, not a million miles from the Arctic Circle.

Vegard and Rob hope you’ll enjoy their original music and also some of their favourite covers from their past in their preferred relaxed, intimate and chatty atmosphere. The music they’ll be performing is best described as 'middle-of-the-road, easy listening, bit of Country, typical singer/songwriter songs that feature melody and harmony'.

St Barnabas is a local independent charity providing free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Lincolnshire, with services including inpatient care, day therapy, and hospice at home.
